Evercore Intro To Banking
Evercore is a premier global independent investment banking advisory firm whose looking to get in touch with first and second year undergrad students here at Western.
Evercore in partnership with the Western Investment Club is hosting an in-person event! If you’re interested in learning more about internship opportunities in investment banking, then we highly encourage you to look into this.
Evercore will be recruiting students in 2024 for various Summer Analyst Programs, so now is your chance to meet the team and ask any questions you may have! They are also holding their Rising Junior Diversity Scholarship for $15,000, you can submit an application Here

BAWA - Volunteer Position
Black at Western Alumni (BAWA) are looking for volunteers!
Are you interested in research, design or have an interest in digging into the past? If so, then you’re exactly what BAWA is looking for. In this position as a student researcher, it will be your job to collect information on former Black Students at Western University who made notable impacts during their time at Western or with their careers later on.
You’ll be working with three project supervisors and develop various projects! This is an amazing opportunity to develop and improve skills related to research, collaboration, time management and organization.

B.E.S.T. Program
The Black Entrepreneurship & Skilled Trades Program (B.E.S.T. Program) is an online program held at Ontario Tech University.
This online course consists of various modules that are designed to take participants from the very beginning stages of entrepreneurial thinking to becoming significantly more confident having attained the required knowledge to launch their own business with a focus on the skilled trades.
This program offers youth valuable training in concepts such as founder responsibilities, design thinking, business model canvas, SMART goal setting, finance management, customer agreements and many more.
This is a free course and only requires 3-6 hours to complete. To apply, please visit their website here.
