Black at Western Alumni (BAWA) are looking for volunteers!
Are you interested in research, design or have an interest in digging into the past? If so, then you’re exactly what BAWA is looking for. In this position as a student researcher, it will be your job to collect information on former Black Students at Western University who made notable impacts during their time at Western or with their careers later on.
You’ll be working with three project supervisors and develop various projects! This is an amazing opportunity to develop and improve skills related to research, collaboration, time management and organization.

Accelerate Her Future (AHF) fellowship circle is a highly curated fellowship program for self-identifying Black, Indigenous and women of colour students or recent grads pursuing careers in business and STEM.

The Black Entrepreneurship & Skilled Trades Program (B.E.S.T. Program) is an online program held at Ontario Tech University.
This online course consists of various modules that are designed to take participants from the very beginning stages of entrepreneurial thinking to becoming significantly more confident having attained the required knowledge to launch their own business with a focus on the skilled trades.
This program offers youth valuable training in concepts such as founder responsibilities, design thinking, business model canvas, SMART goal setting, finance management, customer agreements and many more.
